Many meditators or sadak are not familiar with this word called "Shaktipat" . Like word itself describe shakti ie. power or energy and path ie. source or way. Importants and the advantage of it will help any lay person in various manner. Shaktipat is a cosmic energy pass to us by our gurus ,guidance and enlighten who is overflowing with cosmic energy.
For sadak its very important to receive shaktipat. And am blessed to be under guidance of Ma mrinalini and constantly receiving flow of energy . Shaktipat is given on top of head also known as crown chakra.
Saktipat can be given by distance as well as close to the person. However person should be a receiver. Acceptance is required. Being a meditator when i got connected to Maa mrinalini i got know about shaktipat and was lucky to receive it constantly.
